Poppies Across Cliffsend as Village Prepares to Remember
Cliffsend Parish Council
Cliffsend Parish Council has been out placing poppies at various locations around the village ahead of Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
A small but meaningful gesture to remember those who gave their lives in service, and to honour all those who have served and sacrificed.
A wreath has also been placed at the Remembrance Bench outside the Village Hall, providing a place for residents to pause and reflect.
On Remembrance Sunday, Parish Councillors will be attending the service in Ramsgate, where a wreath will be laid on behalf of Cliffsend Parish and its residents.
As you make your way around the village over the coming days, you'll spot these symbols of remembrance on our village signs and landmarks.
We will remember them.
