Proposed Removal of Payphone - Sandwich Road

BT plan to remove the payphone situated at 37a Sandwich Road, Cliffsend.

3 public payphones in this area are planned for removal due to declining usage. These have been assessed using the criteria set out in Ofcom’s review of the Telephony Universal Service Obligation. .

Notices have been placed on the payphones to make sure the local community is fully informed, as below -

Unfortunately, it just isn't used enough for us to carry on running it.

If you think it should stay, please contact your local authority within 90 days of the date on this notice.
