Southern Water has advised that operational issues at water supply works in Selling and Eastling are currently affecting some customers across parts of Thanet and East Kent. Residents may experience low water pressure, intermittent supply, or in some cases a temporary loss of water supply while works continue.

As a precaution, bottled water stations are now open at:

📍 Tesco Superstore, Manston Road, Ramsgate, CT12 6NT

📍 Manston Airfield, Manston Road, CT12 5BL

🕚 Stations are currently expected to remain open until 11pm tonight, reopening tomorrow if required.

Southern Water have confirmed they are:

💧 Moving water around the network to help balance supplies

🚛 Bringing in additional support, including tankers

📦 Prioritising vulnerable residents registered on the Priority Services Register

Residents who may require additional support can contact Southern Water directly on 0330 303 0368 or sign up to the Priority Services Register online.

We appreciate this will be frustrating for residents, particularly during the warmer weather, and will continue to share updates as information becomes available.
