Following the fantastic news that Cliffsend Parish Council has secured funding for new heritage trail boards around the village, we’d now love to hear from you.

We know that some of the best knowledge about Cliffsend’s history sits with the people who live here – and those who have lived here before.

Do you know an interesting piece of local history?
Do you have old photographs of Cliffsend?
Do you remember how the village used to look?
Are there local people, places or events you think deserve to be remembered?
Have you heard stories about the village that have been passed down through your family?

We’d love to hear your thoughts, memories, stories and suggestions for things that could potentially feature on the new heritage boards.

We can’t guarantee that every suggestion will make it onto the finished boards, and information may need to be researched or verified, but we really do value the knowledge and memories held by our residents and want the community to have an opportunity to help shape what they contain.

So, what parts of Cliffsend’s story do you think we should tell?

Complete the form via the link to submit your information! Old photographs and other historical material would be especially welcome.

Let’s make sure Cliffsend’s history isn’t forgotten.
